When the Original Mind had created Mahakali, and she began the real work
of birthing all of what we know as Creation into being, she first birthed her
son and lover Mahakala, and then they had a joyous time in Yab-Yum, and
then Ganesha (who became the First Shaman) was born, and then the twins
Naag Sesha and Naga Liman were born. Sesha was born first, and so is the
First or Adya Naga, and their ultimate King. The first Nagini were born next,
and Naga Liman mated with one of his sisters and they bore the special
line of Naga that became known as the Ancient Ones.
The universe went through many creations and cataclysmic events until
the present form of suns surrounded by planets and moons was settled
upon, and finally – after millions of our years had passed – our solar system
and the earth were created. Being the first fully free will planet, and a great
experiment in the making, Mahakali, Mahakala, Ganesha and the Naga
chose to live here in a full embodiment even though they still keep a very
active presence in all of the rest of Creation. At first Naga Liman and his
Consort and their offspring settled in what is now Indonesia. Then it was
simply a plain on the floor of what is now the Pacific Ocean. But, strange
and interesting things began to happen as the Ancient Ones came fully into
their power.
