The Shadow Walker Empowerment

I first heard the word “Sceadugenga” (SHEH-ah-duh-GENG-ga) when reading the Saxon Stories by Bernard Cornwell, a fantastic set of historical fiction novels set during the pagan invasion of England. However, most people know the term from the epic poem Beowulf, in which one of the three primary antagonists, Grendel, is described as being a Sceadugenga. I did some digging and discovered that the Sceadugenga are a sort of monster from the old world. They could appear pleasing to lure prey, but they could also melt into the shadows and move through them effortlessly, hiding themselves while stalking their enemies. Naturally, I sought these spirits out through the spirit world and formed an alliance with them, which makes this empowerment possible. 
What This Empowerment Will Do For You
The Shadow Walker Empowerment will grant you the energies of the Sceadugenga, which allow you to conceal your energy (and with practice, your physical presence as well) from your enemies. It also forms an alliance with the Shadow Walkers so that you can call upon them to strike down your enemies while they are at their most vulnerable. 
The Shadow Walkers also had some ability in a form of sorcery we would call “Shadowmancy”, which gave them influence over the darkness. They can use this power to blind and misdirect their enemies and cloak their homes from detection, and this energy is included in the empowerment as well. 
Finally, by doing the meditations that come with this empowerment, you will be connected with your personal Sceadugenga guardian, who will help you master the powers of this energy, as well as help you deal with your enemies.
