Attunement FAQ
Over the years, I have received many questions about attunements, and I realized I've never done an actual post addressing these questions. So, here we go:
Q: I purchased a distance attunement. When should I receive it?
A: Well, that depends on your initiator. Some people schedule live calls, some give you a date and time. The way it works when you buy from me, I prepare your attunement and send it to you in an Orb of Life, which can be thought of as an intelligent chi ball. Then, you can receive it at any time after it is prepared. Even if you wait ten years, your attunement will still be ready and waiting for you. The exception to this is those attunements which I have set up for you to download the manual right away. Those attunements have been set up in such a way that my higher self prepares them for you as soon as you purchase, so they are ready immediately. Follow the instructions in the download files and you'll be able to use your energies right away.
Q: I no longer want my attunement. How do I get rid of it?
A: With very few exceptions, releasing an attunement is easy. Set your intention to no longer have access to it, and then tell the orb of life you received it from to withdraw it's energy from you. You can always contact the one who initiated you, but this is not truly necessary.
Q: Attunement, empowerment, initiation, activation, diksha. What's the difference?
A: There really isn't one. Semantically, I use initiation specifically to refer to things that are initiations into a current rather than a general attunement, but ultimately it is all the same: receiving an energetic pattern from someone who already has it.
Q: Are attunements necessary?
A: No! Anything you can receive from an attunement, you can learn to do on your own. Attunements just make things easier.
Q: I found the same attunement online for cheaper. What's the difference?
A: I don't disparage other sellers, but what I will say is, most attunements have a minimum fee that should be upheld to honor the exchange of energy. There are also those which will unleash curses on people who violate those minimum fees. So, not upholding that exchange can mean several things, but it generally means for you that you didn't receive the fullness of energy you should have.
Q: I found this attunement manual online, will it work?
A: Sure, if it's a self attunement. If it isn't, though, and many aren't, then you don't have anyone to prepare it for you so it won't do much good. Some manuals include all the necessary information you need to acquire the power anyway, but it will be a longer and harder road than receiving it the right way.
Q: Does lineage matter?
A: Yes and no. It matters in that, if you don't receive the energy from someone who has it, then you don't receive it. But the lineage doesn't have to be ancient to be effective.
Q: Attunements don't work for me! What do I do?
A: There are many reasons why attunements may not work, or may not seem like they are working. I've covered these before, but it could be that you aren't sensitive to energy and so can't feel it working. Or, you're missing a step in the process. It could also be that the attunement did not come from a true lineage and so you didn't receive anything. And in the case of my attunements, they come to you in an orb of life, and they come from me, a servant of the balance in the white lodge. So, if you have negative intentions, if you are a servant of the dark lodge, then my attunements won't work for you.
Q: Why do some attunements have prerequisites?
A: A few reasons, but primarily because the prerequisites build your subtle body up to be able to handle the higher levels of energy.
Q: What are attunements good for?
A: Anything! Attunements can contain the energy of ritual tools, or full rituals, or connections to spirits, or many other things that make it so that you can activate and use these things without owning the physical items or doing a full ritual. Attunements make it easy to protect yourself, draw wealth, commune with spirits, and many other things without needing to go through the ceremony of conjuration, invocation, and so on. There are also attunements that connect you to plant, animal, and crystal spirits, so with the right combination, you can imbue these things into oil and powder bases to enchant your own products without needing to wait for materials to arrive.
Q: If you could only use one attunement, what would it be?
A: That's a tough one, but ultimately, I always fall back on the core studies of my order: either Universal Shamanic Empowerments or Kali Naga Shamanic Power. Both of these are amazingly powerful toolkits that handle most things that need to be handled.
