Sacred Sites and Ley Lines

Stonehenge. Mount Sinai. Giza. Kalimath. What do these places have in common?

They have always been treated as sacred places, places of power. Anyone who's anyone has heard of the Sphinx, or Stonehenge, and most practitioners of Magick are at least aware of places like the Parthenon. And most people have also heard of Ley Lines, mystical lines of power that crisscross the globe. Modern legend is that intersections of these lines, or the lines themselves, are where these sacred places are found, and people make pilgrimages to these places every year to soak in their energy. But these are not the only places to find ley lines or sacred places. In fact, there are countless more that are undisturbed! I even found such a place when I was much younger, high in the Rocky Mountains. I sat on a boulder at the edge of a canyon, and found that in that place, I could hear and see spirits much more clearly than anywhere else, and I even made a small shrine of stacked stones while I was there. So what made it any different than these other places?

Ultimately, nothing except that these places are well known. Time, attention, and energy have been devoted to these other places, and they have also been actively used as ritual sites and places of worship. But you don't have to travel the world to find these places. In fact, you probably have ley lines running through your home! Major ley lines are found at certain points, but realistically, minor ley lines run all over the place. Think of them like the central nervous system of the globe: just because you have a sciatica doesn't mean it's the only nerve in your body. You're covered with them, and mother earth is the same way. You may even have an intersection in your yard. With that in mind, what stops you from establishing your own sacred space? Nothing! You can build up a space in your own home, or go out and find somewhere where the energy is naturally stronger and establish one there. If you want to get fancy, get yourself some dowsing rods and use them to track ley lines and their intersections. Then, you can use reiki, Tacyon energy, or your own power, or any other form of sacred energy, to consecrate the place you've chosen as a holy place for you. You can erect altars here if you so wish, bury orgonite, hang up sacred symbols, anything you want. Ultimately, you are creating a place that is aligned to your will, energy, and highest good in which you can meditate and work and know that your intentions are being magnified and transmitted into the universe. In the future, I will have a whole course that mentions this, but for now, I just wanted to get you thinking about ways you can step up your game. Until next time
